    Staring at my bright pink backpack, bearing my name at the top, made me wonder if my parents knew that I would be a lawyer when they named me Juris Prudence.

  • I was on the metro, kind of like a train, but it only goes through the Washington, D.C. area.

  • I’ve lived in Washington, D.C. my whole life, so taking the metro train was something I was used to.

  • My grandparents didn’t drive, so we take the metro and the city bus everywhere.
